Gregg and Cath Adams have published their photographs worldwide in advertising and corporate campaigns, tourism, and national magazine covers. The photographs now showing at the Bonfire coffee house feature characters who contributed to Carbondale’s colorful mining heyday. Featured portraits: Ed Cerise, Hank Gray, Gary Soucie, John Burtard, Rich Gilmore, Cindy Sadlowski, Robert Congdon, Milt Cass, Kirk Blue, Mario Villalobos, Rich Van Dellen, Rusty Ford, and Pat Noel.

SK Badgett and his wife live in the mountains of western Colorado, where they raised four children. In earlier years he worked in the coal mines and taught wilderness survival skills; later he made his living in Aspen as an artist. He spent the last twenty-five years teaching English at private schools, Colorado Mountain College, and Colorado Christian University. He has an M.A. in English from Middlebury College.  His work has appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies.
