Marble has become me and Addie’s favorite town in the area around Glenwood Springs. It’s remoteness and connection to nature are why we love it, and what keeps us coming back. Outfitted with a few shops and a killer BBQ place called “Slow Groovin”, this sleepy town is primarily made up of cabins and storage sheds. Our favorite hang out spot here is a little space on the crystal river in between it and Beaver Lake. On your way back to town be sure to check out Penny Hot Springs, it’s free and right off of Hwy 133 on the Crystal River (clothing optional).
