The concept for Red Hill was created by Dr. Judi Leake, but what differentiates our hospital is the skill, care, and commitment of our staff. We have a new facility with excellent equipment, but this does not guarantee excellent care. Excellent care is guaranteed by trained, caring people working at a job they love. You’ll find this devotion from the veterinarians to the support staff when you entrust us with the care of your pet. You and your pets are SPECIAL, and we want you to feel this at each visit.
Dr. Leake has been practicing veterinary medicine for 30 years. However, experience does not guarantee excellence either. It is imperative to Dr. Leake to stay current regarding new treatment protocols, drug protocols, and surgical and dental techniques. She does this by attending several veterinary conferences each year, reading journals, and relying on input from friends who are specialists in their fields. Not only does she expect this of herself, but also of the entire medical staff.
Red Hill Animal Health Center was opened in June of 2000. We had no clients, but we did have tunnel vision toward providing unparalleled care for the dogs and cats of the Roaring Fork Valley. Our promise is to offer every healthcare option possible, then create a care plan that supports your philosophy and your budget. By working within this philosophy, we are able to offer individually designed, affordable service to every pet owner.
