When you visit Aspen, if you ask the locals where to go to grab a beer and watch a game they’ll send to you Zane’s Tavern. One of the last standing local bars Zane’s has a pub feel with a friendly atmosphere and draws crowds by offering an alternative to the high-ticket meal. With a similar menu to its sister location in Snowmass Village, Zane’s serves up Philly Cheese steaks on Amoroso rolls and burgers made from local Colorado beef. But their menu favorites would be the chicken wings (voted best wings in the valley) and authentic Mexican tacos. With Guinness on tap (the cheapest in town) you’ll find many a sports fanatic there watching their team on one of the 6 flat screen high def TV’s. Zane’s is one of few late night eateries in Aspen with the kitchen open until midnight. Locals and tourists have made Zane’s one of the most popular hang outs in town.
